Fantome's Story

As I remember it.

If you looked at the photo's of Fantome you can Cleary see what a fun time that was had by all.  Sadly this proud ship was lost in 1998 during hurricane Mitch, along with 31 crew members.

I sailed on Fantome two times and met my wife while I was aboard. The photos were taken 30 years ago and are not of the crew that was lost.

There has been a great deal of controversy about the loss of Fantome, and I will not fuel that fire.  I post this as a tribute to a great tall ship.
